​Sue and Teresa’s sister, Brenda, died in Newmarket Ontario in 2008. Brenda was attacked and killed by an obsessive co-worker who then committed suicide. Brenda was victim to workplace harassment by her co-worker who abused his power androutinely put her in inappropriate situations including the night she was killed.

 

After the devastating loss of their sister, Sue and Teresa started the Remember Me Homicide Support Group. The group was created for survivors by survivors in order to give people the tools to cope, a safe place for people to go and feel welcomed and know that they are not alone in this journey.
