“When Clifford Olson died it was like night and day. I felt the weight of the world lift off my shoulders because I knew I didn’t have to deal with him anymore. I have a different outlook on life now, it won’t be the same as it was before,                          but there is hope” –Ray King Sr.

In 1981 Ray King Sr.’s son Ray Jr. was murdered by Clifford Olson in New Westminster BC. Ray Jr. was only 15 years old when he was reported missing after he didn’t return home from going to a local job search agency at a time when far too many children were going missing.

Ray now helps others who are experiencing loss through homicide. Through his involvement with Canadians Against Violence (CAVEAT) and Long-term Inmates Now in the Community (LINC) he helps survivors, inmates and members of the community in their hope for healing.
